Previously known as Backwater Construction & Utility Services, LLC, Gulfside Gas Services, LLC has been providing quality gas services to Sarasota County, Charlotte County, Manatee County, and surrounding areas since 2019. 

Owner Nick Hastillo is a highly-skilled heavy equipment operator and mechanic with over 25 years in the construction and gas industry.  He holds a Natural Gas and LP Master Installer Certificate,  Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement, and various FDOT, MOT, and OSHA certifications.  Upon moving to Venice in 2015, Nick was Superintendent of a statewide gas company before deciding to open his own company.   

In their free time, Nick and his family can be found exploring the Myakka River or our beautiful Gulf waters.  They love to volunteer and serve the community with their local church and proudly put Jesus Christ at the forefront of their personal and professional life.
